Join the Jewish Community Alliance of Southern Maine for a special evening with Sarah Hurwitz, award-winning author and former White House speechwriter. Hurwitz is the author of Here All Along, a finalist for two National Jewish Book Awards and the Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish Literature, and As A Jew, winner of the Natan Notable Book Award.

Drawing on her journey of rediscovering Judaism and grappling with Jewish identity in an age of rising antisemitism, Hurwitz brings a voice of honesty, wisdom, and inspiration. She previously served as senior speechwriter for President Barack Obama and as head speechwriter for First Lady Michelle Obama.

Each attendee will receive a copy of one of her books.
